Dursun Özbek explained Galatasaray's new season and European targets at the championship night in Bodrum.
Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek shared the new season goals at the 26th Championship Night held in Bodrum. The evening, organized by the Bodrum 1905 Galatasaray Supporters Association in Bodrum district of Muğla, brought together the yellow-red community. Özbek stated that they have preserved last season's squad and have prepared a team to achieve the desired results in the Champions League. Coach Okan Buruk also expressed that they will work for the 5th consecutive championship and success in Europe.

Dursun Özbek gave new season message in Bodrum
The 26th Championship Night, organized by the Bodrum 1905 Galatasaray Supporters Association, was held at a hotel in the district. The program was attended by Bodrum District Governor Ali Sırmalı, Bodrum Mayor Tamer Mandalinci, Galatasaray President Dursun Özbek, Coach Okan Buruk, former Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim, and players Uğurcan Çakır, Abdülkerim Bardakcı, and Yunus Akgün.
In his statement at the event, Dursun Özbek said he was pleased to celebrate the 26th championship with Galatasaray fans from Bodrum. Stating that preparations for the new season have begun, Özbek declared the target as the 27th championship. Highlighting that the yellow-red team is maintaining its current squad, Özbek conveyed that transfer works for weak positions are ongoing together with the technical staff and scouting team.

Galatasaray plans squad for Champions League
Dursun Özbek's statements highlighted the emphasis on the Champions League. Özbek said that Galatasaray wants to demonstrate a strong performance not only in the league but also in Europe. President Özbek said, "We preserve last year's team. Together with our coach, technical staff, and scouting team, we are resolving any weaknesses during this transfer period and preparing a team to achieve the desired results in the Champions League."
These words indicated that the yellow-red club will act more selectively during the transfer period. Galatasaray plans to reinforce weak areas without disrupting squad stability. Due to the European target, the transfers are expected to be evaluated not only for league rotation but also to fit the Champions League tempo.

Okan Buruk emphasizes 5th championship and Europe
Galatasaray Coach Okan Buruk said that the 4 consecutive championships won are very valuable for the community. Stating that the goals are not finished, Buruk expressed that they will fight for the 5th championship in the new season. He also emphasized that the goal of success in Europe continues with the same seriousness and stated that the team will start working in a short time.
Buruk mentioned that the foreign player rule also affects transfer planning. The experienced coach said they want to make significant reinforcements to the squad and aim to strengthen through young players and Turkish footballers. Buruk said they want to act more calmly, controlled, and foresighted compared to previous years.

Fatih Terim and Uğurcan Çakır evaluate the championship
Speaking at the event, Fatih Terim said that the Galatasaray community is a club accustomed to great achievements. Congratulating President Dursun Özbek, the management, technical staff, and players, Terim expressed that a strong unity has formed with the support of fans. Terim wished for successes to continue both in Turkey and Europe.
Galatasaray goalkeeper Uğurcan Çakır expressed his sadness regarding the World Cup process. He said they wanted to make the country proud but could not succeed, adding they have a chance to compensate for it. The successful goalkeeper wished to become champion again next season and celebrate with the same enthusiasm in Bodrum.
