Critical Court Decision for Gökova: Marina Capacity Increase Canceled for the Second Time
The Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Positive Decision regarding the marina capacity increase project in Marmaris Karaca Neighborhood, which Muğla Metropolitan Municipality took to court on grounds of environmental damage within the Gökova Special Environmental Protection Area, was canceled by the Muğla 4th Administrative Court. The court ruled that the project does not comply with environmental legislation, scientific principles, and public interest.
